This is another hole which always seems to be a longish Par 4 hole for men. It is a Par 5 for the ladies. It is characterised by a relatively narrow fairway, just on drivable length, so you need to be rather accurate off the tee. It is named 'Tiger Hill' after the hill which you can see beyond the green as you approach. This is the high point between Alexandra and Omakau and is also one of the two summits on the Rail Trail. Ladies : 388m (No 5 on the card (Par 5)) Men : 376m (No 1 on the card (Par 4))

From the two tees
Half way up the fairway there is a small outcrop of rock, best avoided, followed by the straight approach to the green.
And, finally, the green, nice and flat, which affords one of the many panoramas which the course has to offer. |
